“AS Tallink Grupp” also recognizes environmental protection and management as one of its highest priorities and that every effort is to be made to conserve and protect the environment therefore company kindly agreed to support MARMONI project by placing information panels on 4 routes operated by the Tallink company:  Tallinn (Estonia) – Helsinki (Finland); Riga (Latvia) – Stockholm (Sweden); Tallinn (Estonia) – Stockholm (Sweden) and Helsinki (Finland) – Stockholm (Sweden).

The company also practically supports the project activities by carrying on-board equipment for scientific research.

  • Year 2015: Project team has produced the 4th set of the information panels to provide messages and conclusions from the project in general and particularly biodiversity assessment in easy understandable way.
  • Year 2014: Project team has produced the 3rd set of the information panels informing about the known and less known residents of the Baltic Sea. Since summer 2014 they have been  placed on 4 routes operated by the Tallink company. Good cooperation will be continued also in 2015.
  • Year 2013: Project team had produced the 2nd set of the information panels reflecting the marine biodiversity monitoring; introducing how to count all birds of the Baltic Sea and how to study animals and plants living in different water layers. In the summer 2013 they had been  placed on 4 routes operated by the Tallink company.
  • Year 2012: Project team had produced the 1st set of the information panels reflecting the biodiversity of the Baltic Sea.  In the summer 2012 they had been  placed on 4 routes operated by the Tallink company.
